This seven seater Renault Grand Scenic is still a good runner and has an MOT till the 25th May 2018. My in-laws have downsized and bought a place in Spain, this car has done the bulk of transporting items to Spain over a couple of trips Loads of boot room! And hasn’t skipped a beat. Now with less space to store it and a smaller car to use for the pair of them they have no need to use this and have asked me to sell it for them. What’s so good about it? Unlike most Grand Scenics this one comes with a spare wheel! I don’t know how many other Grand Scenics would come with this feature. The’Get you home’ kit is still there but the sealant is out of date, again this should not present a problem with a spare wheel! I didn’t know the sealant could be out of date until I was preparing this description, feel free to ask other sellers about this to prevent nasty shocks in future. The car also has a towbar with fully functioning electrics, the original bar is in the boot in case you wanted to remove the towbar. Also the car comes with both the original Renault stereo and a newer fancy one that we couldn’t be bothered to take out, you get them both. I’m throwing in a Haynes manual as a bonus. What condition is the car in? It’s in good condition for a 13 year old car. It has a few dints and bruises but nothing too severe. The near-side wing mirror has a crack in the plastic (Not the mirror itself) and the rear off-side bumper has been bumped a couple of times, but you have to look for it. The front paintwork above the grill seems to be peeling (See pics) but I’ve noticed this with quite a few Grand Scenics, Renault obviously left painting those bits till Friday afternoon. Some years ago Renault under pressure from BBC Watchdog replaced any faulty dashboards this happened with this car. The mileage was wiped at the time at 43,000 Miles. The displayed mileage is almost 43,000 again so the actual mileage is around 86,000 Miles, still low for a car of this age but not as impressive as the dash would have you believe! The boot still has the cover for any shopping you want to hide. The’Check Emissions’ warning light has been on since about 2008. The car drives fine and has an MOT. This car is a bargain for whoever buys it. The seats go in and come out with ease leaving tonnes of space if you need to transport anything. The middle have Isofix connections, these cars are perfect for families of all sizes Up to 7 people of course! Cash on collection please. Service history comes with the car.
