For sale is my former workhorse Renault Grand Scenic. It’s been a great car in the time that I’ve had it. It’s taken a family 5 on numerous trips with no problems (large pram/buggy included), been used as a makeshift van plenty of times (carried a ton bag full of compost easily). Other than a couple of sensor issues (listed below) it’s been very reliable and never let us down. However it’s come time for it to go as we seem to now have 4 cars in our household between 2 of us that can drive. MOT Expired – only had advisories of tyres last time (all were changed). Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch keeps throwing up fault on dashboard (new sensor required). Knock sensor was faulting and showing up a code on diagnostic. There’s a squeak/creak from front when going over speed bumps (no problems found on MOT’s) always been there since I’ve owned it. No rear centre seatbelt (it broke and I didn’t get round to replacing). Rear passenger window doesn’t seem to work (never has in my ownership). As can be expected with a car of this age and owned by a family it’s not immaculate. There is a rip in one of the rear seats but it’s between the seat backs. Could do with a valet.
