My wifes Renault Grand Scenic 2005 1.6 Petrol with 7 seats. Only reason for sale is she has now got some thing smaller as the eldest child has flown the nest so no reason for a 7 seater now. Just gone through its MOT with only needing a front spring replacing, not really cost us much over the years (expect a brand new from Renault handbrake in 2016 – have receipt), and is economical for the size of car. Drives with no issues at all, starts and stops as it should. It has 9 or 10 stamps in the service book, up until we got it and I’ve either done the oil change myself or had the local garage do it each year – will need a service in 6 months based on when I last changed it. The Odometer shows 45000 miles, however it has a LCD screen replacement in 2014 (think receipt is in with all the others) at Renault and so I’ve added the miles prior to this change to the current so total is around 109000 which is less then average for the age of the car. Can be verified through MOTs. Only real negative I can think of is the Key card – replaced over 2 year ago due to wife smashing it in the door however the keycard will only turn the car on/off wont operate the central locking (used to, just slowly stopped working). The central locking works from inside with internal button, so it must just be the key – we’ve just never got round to sorting it as its lockable by the small key and to be honest we hardly lock it lol. I have 2 of the small keys one key card. Usual dings and scratches as you’d expect for the age of the car, so dont expect a perfect car but its fairly tidy i’d say. More then welcome to come take it for a drive, however it will have to just be down our lane (0.5 mile long) as many times as you need as its not Taxed or Insured. On the pics you might see the rear cluster light discoloured and cracked – I have now replaced this since the photos. WIll come with towbar and roof bars as in pics. Basically, if you want a nice 7 seater thats reasonable to run, and that you can drive away with 12 months MOT then this is for you. I’ll think about Reasonable offers so please do let me know.
