Relisted due to total time waster who waited a week to let me know he didn’t want it. Renault Megane Grand Scenic. 1.6vvti, 7 Seats. No MOT, My wife changed to a smaller car 4 months ago and it was parked up, the MOT ran out 3 months ago and we didn’t bother to renew. Car is currently SORN. It had a replacement dash a long time ago (they all failed), MOT’s show 60k miles before the change, so it is on approx 105k miles. Only advisory on the last MOT was rear discs worn/pitted. All the discs are rusty as it has been parked up but they would probably clean up with driving. Alternatively they are not expensive on this car and easy to change. Last service we were told Cambelt is due, and it could do with a new handbrake cable. Handbrake service light is lit on the dash. It had new pads last year and did not do many miles since. When I recently moved it after 3 months, it started up straight away so the battery is good. It was replaced last year. The brake pedal was pulsing a bit, but it had not moved for 3 months, so I suspect there is dirt on the discs that might clear up with driving. Wing mirrors were kicked off by a vandal and are held on with Gaffa tape but glass is fine, and the electrics’kind of’ work, so would be fine with replacement mirrors. Auto wipers and lights, both work fine. Plug in tow bar. Windows all work, three have had new modules (originals known to fail) so don’t do’Auto open’. It has two key cards. The old one is tatty but works. We bought a brand new one from Renault, but for some reason it has stopped working the ignition and just does the doors. I expect it can be reprogrammed.
