This rare Privilege Model Grand Scenic has the hugely powerful and incredibly economical 2.0 litre Dci Diesel engine that produces a superb 150 bhp. This has to be one of the quietest diesels I have ever driven and you really will have to remember to pull up to the diesel pump when you refill it because it drives like a petrol car. It is smooth quiet and very fast. The car is very comfortable and easy to drive, made better thanks to the automatic gearbox it is smooth to operate and the gear change is seamless. This car has covered a modest 101,400 miles which is nothing to a modern day Renault diesel engine. I have the service book, which shows services were carried out at these intervals, 12K, 31K, 51K, 68K, and lastly at 86K. I have both Remote Key cards, Service Book, V5, Mot Certificate and all relevant owners manuals etc. The specification of this Grand Scenic is fantastic. The interior is superb and has been well cared for being a family vehicle. The cabin is extremely roomy and the back seats are just as comfortable as the front ones. The very rear seats (6/7) can be folded down into the floor to create a huge space. Of course this is the Grand Scenic which means you have more than enough leg room and front & rear under floor storage in the front and rear to keep everyone happy on your journey. The hi-fi sounds great and benefits from controls to the steering wheel, there are a number of other options which really enhance long journeyssuch as full on board colour computer,, leather interior including door cards, also being heated for those winter months, a huge twin glass panoramic sunroof with an twin blinds that will cover it all away should you not want the sun shining in, cruise control, privacy glass to all the rear windows, an auto dimming mirror which detects and corrects night dazzle from other lights, automatic light sensing Xenon headlamps which turn themselves on when entering dark places, automatic rain sensing wipers along with front & rear parking sensors with on screen display also. There is fully automatic dual digital climate control where all passengers just have to enter their desired temperature and the car will deliver it perfectly it even has sunshine sensors so it knows when you are feeling the heat! The ESP is a great safety feature, it constantly monitors the speed of all 4 wheels, amount of acceleration or braking and the angle of steering lock. If it detects any risk to traction while driving it can reduce power from the engine while also applying the brakes to each individual wheel to ensure maximum safety. With an options list like this along with the rain sensor which detects rain and adjusts the speed of the wipers according to the amount of rain, and automatic headlights which will turn themselves on when entering dark places or darkness falls all add up to create a car in which even the driver feels like a passenger with little to do but enjoy the ride. Internally the car is virtually immaculate. The whole interior is spotlessly clean and is basically near immaculate with everything working exactly as it should, obviously there are the very light odd marks here or there to the plastics but nothing that you wouldnt expect from even a 60,000 mile example. Externally the car is also in immaculate condition and without reading the mileage on the speedometer you would think it had covered no more than 60,000 miles. · Looks fantastic, spotlessly clean inside and drives like new. It is just about run in at this mileage and is still a fantastic piece of equipment. Driving a top of the range new model Grand Scenic really is unlike anything else I have ever driven and represents an amazing combination of luxury, safety and economy in an innovative sports package. As always I personally collected this car and can tell you that on the 145+ mile trip the drive was out of this world. I certainly did not expect this Mpv to be so easy or enjoyable to drive as it was. Benefiting from the 150 Bhp the car drives as if it was a sports hatch with an unbelievable amount of power and torque. The car starts at first push of the button and does not leave any smoke whatsoever. The general condition is truly superb and the front and rear seating and carpeted areas are both absolutely stain free/unmarked condition which you would expect if the car was in a high street showroom with 60,000 miles on the clock. The body work also is quite unbelievable as it does not show any real signs of the mileage travelled, the alloy wheels are unmarked, in fact the whole car is in a condition that would relate to a mileage of approximately 60,000 miles.
