We have owned the Scenic for over 3 years now with the log book in our name & address. Then I made that stupid mistake of leaving the old Scenic parked on our drive for the last couple of months without moving it or starting it. When we came to start it the battery was flat. So after charging the battery up we got it started, but the handbrake was seized on, so we had to use the manual release in the boot to free the brakes. But now on the dashboard it keeps coming up with Handbrake Fault and Check Handbrake when driving, and now the Handbrake does not seem to work for some reason. The car needs someone with mechanical knowledge to investigate why the Handbrake has decided to stop working after leaving it parked up for a couple of months, it worked fine before we got our new car. And to top that off three electric windows have decided to stop working as well. Such a shame because the last three years we have owned the car we have never had any problems. We have not got the time to get a mechanic to investigate why the handbrake fault has occurred. Like I said the Scenic runs and drives fine, has three good tyres one ok tyre. Air-Con Blows cold air. Blower fan works on all speeds. Has two key cards that both work. Comes with Comprehensive Service History with 10 Service Stamps. The bodywork is in tidy condition with a few minor marks around car what you would expect with the age and mileage of the car. Well I think I have covered pretty much what I know about our Grand Scenic.
