This is the more powerful 1900cc diesel which is really necessary as these are quite heavy cars especially when fully loaded with family! Its a real nice torquey engine that pulls really well in all gears. Which we’ve been able to throw easily in the huge boot. This is the Dynamique model so comes with all the toys including keyless entry invaluable when you’ve got your hands full with two whingy toddlers! And start/stop, heated seats which I only discovered 6 months ago! The car also has a removable tow bar fitted. All 7 seats have 3 point seatbelts, and there are 2 isofix points in the back seats and one in the passenger seat. The car has the 6 speed gearbox and has covered around 90,000 miles – I say around 90,000 miles as the clocks were replaced by Renault at 57,000 miles (see photo) and the new clocks are now showing about 33,000 miles. I get 40+mpg with regular driving and 45+mpg on a decent run. The car has a good service history with regular servicing and was last serviced on 28/1/2016. The cambelt was changed in 2010 at 52,000 miles – the service book says it should be changed at 72,000 miles or 5 years so is fine in terms of mileage but could be due in terms of time. MOT’d to 2nd May 2017. This is an 11 year old car so has a couple of issues – The air con stopped working last year – apparently a pipe has split but with 4 electric windows and a large sunroof I didn’t bother getting it fixed; there is a bit of clutch judder on occasion but its had this since I’ve had it and its never got any worse; the service light and “check injection” message come on when the engine is cold – again its been doing this for a couple of years – I did a fair bit of googling and it looks like a glow plug or glow plug module issue. If you restart the car the lights generally go off – the car has never failed to start on me from hot or cold; the car has a few scratches and parking marks and the wheels have some kerbing and peeling lacquer. Overall this has been a great car for my family and if my wife drove we’d be keeping it. The car is taxed for he journey home.
