Hi, for sale is our Renault Grand Scenic 2005 , 7 seater car with a full 12 months MOT. We have only ever had one key for it and it had been faulty for about a year, so wife had lost confidence in car getting her home, hence new family car. To put car theough the mot we had to get key fixed so we sent it away and it has a new coil fitted, with new battery in a new case and works perfectly now, the car also had 4 new tyres fitted in January so it flew through the MOT with just a few bulbs needing replacement.. The car itself needs some tlc, the seats and carpet are not at their best so need a good valeting. Other problems are the hatchback door opening rods no longer hold the hatchback open so you have to hold open if you are using thhe boot. Also the dashboard goes dimmer and brighter depending what mood its in, the radio section on the right of the dashboard no longer comes on unless you have the heating on for about an hour then for some reason it comes on for a bit.. The problem is I can not put the radio/cd code in because I cant see the code to enter it.. Worked fine before battery went flat.. I think battery needs replacing as when I put keycard in after a couple of days I cannot see the display although car will start.. But if battery is on charge overnight it comes on fine in the morning.. The car comes with lots of mots, v5, keycard, handbook, jack and tyre repair kit.. These cars don’t come with a spare tyre, they come with a liquid you put in tyre to fix and an electric tyre pump.. Other faults are electric window behind drivers seat does not work.. I have the part somewhere to fix it, will try and find it. Air blower only works on numbers 1,2, and 3.. Number 4 does not work… And don’t think reversing beepers work although never really tried to use them or fault find the problem.. Engine starts fine, although on cold days you have to sometimes start a few times till engine warms. There is a slight oil leak from somewhere as I spotted a bit on the drive when I took car for mot the other day.. Very small amount so not sure where it has come from. Looking at the mots I don’t think this one has ever been replaced as I have the following mileage records. 5/11/2005 – 11843 (service record). Mot 2008 – 15245. Mot 2009 – 15247. Mot 2010 – 18402. Mot 2011 – 25136. Mot 2012 – 35371. Mot 2013 – 44761. Mot 2014 – 52130. Mot 2015 – 59113. Mot 2016 – 66393 (06/09/2016). The exterior of the car has the usual scratches and dings of a car for this year, one of the rear wheel arches has some scratches and yellow paint marks from a multistorey car park bollard. The car has 7 seats, the rear 2 fold into the floor. To create a huge boot space there are also 2 folding trays on back of front seats which children love. No reserve and low start price, good luck..
