Hello and welcome to the listing for my well-loved 2008 Renault Megane Grand Scenic in black. I’ve owned the car since 2011, and its been very reliable, taking our family on many camping trips abroad. It’s also used it for transporting many items including wardrobes and beds, leaving me dumbfounded as to what could be fitted in. The car has a grey cloth interior, a CD player, together with the usual accessories, being standard for the Dynamique model. Are lots of storage pockets in the floor pan, and the middle. It has 7 seats, with the middle set being completely removable, and the rear set in the boot floor, creating a flat loading space. I’m also including the Thule Aero (T-track) roof bars, with keys, which are rated to 100kg. I’ve had a few things replaced on the car including the cam-belt, water pump, battery and main drive shaft. Gears and engine show no problems, & tyres are good. MOT due in 3 months. As you’d expect from a car that’s 11 years old, not everything is in 100% working order, and I would therefore like to point out the following. There is a slight’knocking’ noise from steering when on full lock, when manoeuvring e. This is a apparently a common problem, but this doesn’t affect normal driving operation. There are marks/ chips on the paintwork, and roof, commensurate with age. There is an intermittent electrical fault with the cruise control, meaning sometimes it cannot be engaged (although when engaged, it works fine). As I’ve already got a replacement car, space is a bit tight, and I’d therefore prefer a quick sale.
